Our Packaging Capabilities
Industrial Packaging
Third Coast operates six industrial packaging lines designed to handle both drums and IBCs. Four lines support light- to medium-viscosity products, while one flexible line manages high-viscosity and high-temperature materials.
All chemical packaging lines fill by weight and connect directly to inbound truck, railcar, and terminal operations. In addition, our team visually inspects 100 percent of packaging containers before filling.
As a result, we deliver more than 50,000 gallons of daily packaging capacity. This flexibility allows us to support a wide range of petrochemical products across our operations.
cGMP/HAACP
Third Coast is ready to handle a wide range of food-grade products. We have a vast array of experience in packaging products while adhering to strict “Good Manufacturing Practices” and FDA standards.
Our team is intimately familiar with HACCP requirements and we stand ready to partner with you regarding your packaging needs.
Halal/Kosher Food Product Packaging
Third Coast handles a broad range of food-grade products, from vegetable oils to pharmaceutical-grade propylene glycol (PG USP).
We operate high-purity packaging lines for drums, totes, IBCs up to 330 gallons, and 5-gallon pails. All packaging takes place in controlled white-room environments.
In addition, our facility and team follow strict procedures to meet Halal and Kosher packaging requirements. We maintain approvals from the Texas Department of Health, USDA, and FDA. Moreover, four rabbinical societies certify our Kosher packaging operations.
All white-room lines connect directly to truck, railcar, ISO container, and terminal operations. As a result, we achieve combined filling capacities exceeding 50,000 gallons per eight-hour shift.
We use dedicated pumps, piping, and transfer hoses based on customer needs. All filling occurs by weight, and staff visually inspect each container before filling. Upon request, we also nitrogen purge and blanket containers to protect product integrity.
Hazardous Material Packaging
Third Coast’s Feige filling equipment ensures ultimate safety for hazardous drum and tote packaging in filling in an enclosed, vapor controlled, fully automated system.
This filler is enclosed in a stainless steel housing with automatic sliding doors (right and left), for in and outbound pallet movements.
Attached to this new filling station, is a thermal oxidizer and scrubbing system.
The technology offered by our fill line includes:
- Drum and tote filling for flammable and vapor-controlled materials
- Consistently accurate fill weights
- No human exposure/intervention
